Mr Tan Kok Leong is  founder and owner of TKL Consulting which was incorporated in Feb 2002 in Singapore. A graduate of University of Singapore in year 1966 major in Economics and Chinese Language & Literature, Mr Tan joined public service for around 3 years and pursued his postgraduate economics course in University of Sydney in 1969/70. He then  worked in a listed bank in Singapore for 3 decades in credit management. Mr Tan is married with son and daughter both are graduates of National University of Singapore and major in economics and mathematics.  

Mr Tan Kok Leong is a regular business commentator who has from time to time written articles on social, corporate, economic issues and published them in the Business Times during years 2005 to 2002. The business of TKL Consulting focuses on cross-border joint venture, merger & acquisition, & project financing in venture capital industry. It has also successfully developed a global social media-marketing platform in Facebook for use of all free. The platform is unique as its theme RISING ASIA traces the sources of influence of rising Asia from the West particularly like politics, economics, technology, trade, products and services, trade etc. It is also the platform's intention to introduce Asian political leaders, market, products & services, culture to the rest of the world.
